Free LUNCH for postgraduate and honours students

Thank you to those students who came along and enjoyed the lunch on 29th October in The Glasshouse, Bar on the Hill, Callaghan Campus.

It is hoped that lunches can be held during semester in 2009.

Once details have been finalised the information will be included here.

Funds for postgraduate student groups to hold social events

Although the total amount is limited, NUPSA has some funds available which can be provided to student groups and used towards the cost of holding social events.

How can you obtain some of these funds?
You will need to have ten postgraduate students form a social club and then the club applies to become a NUPSA affiliated social club.
Once the club's affiliation has been approved by the NUPSA Executive Committee you can make an application for funds to hold social events.

There are some guidelines which need to be followed, but it is really quite easy to become an affiliated social club and ask for funds to hold social functions.

If interested - further details are available from the NUPSA office.

NUPSA Seminars/workshops

Some workshops have already been held this year and it is hoped that other topics can be arranged in due course.

Details will be included here once finalised.
