Upcoming Functions

Funds for postgraduate student groups to hold social events

Although the total amount is limited, NUPSA has some funds available which can be provided to student groups and used towards the cost of holding social events.

How can you obtain some of these funds?
You will need to have ten postgraduate students form a social club and then the club applies to become a NUPSA affiliated social club.
Once the club's affiliation has been approved by the NUPSA Executive Committee you canmake an application for funds to hold social events.

There are some guidelines which need to be followed, but it is really quite easy to become an affiliated social club and ask for funds to hold social functions.

LEARNING DEVELOPMENT - Callaghan Campus

Learning Development is part of the Centre for Teaching and Learning.

Learning Development run a series of workshops to help you develop academic learning skills and academic maths skills.

The workshops usually run for an hour. They are free and are designed to help you deal with the demands of University study.
