As a postgraduate student enrolled at the University of Newcastle you are a member of the Newcastle University Postgraduate Students' Association (NUPSA), and NUPSA is YOUR Student Association.

There are no charges or membership fees levied as a member of the Association - it is free.

How do we operate then, if there are no charges or membership fees?

The University of Newcastle administration is providing funds - in return NUPSA can support and represent postgraduate students enrolled at the University, and maintain the NUPSA office.

Honours students, though not official members of NUPSA, are encouraged to attend NUPSA events and seminars, and to contact the office if you feel we can assist at any time.

The Executive Committee encourages you to contact us if you have any item you would like to bring to our attention, or if you are experiencing problems with your studies. We are here to assist wherever possible so that your time at the University of Newcastle is a rewarding experience. Should you wish to speak to an Executive member please make contact with the NUPSA office.
